Lev Afor's
Parents (2006) is a story about the life of a couple, and their
daughter, who live in a big city on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. It
is a story of contemporary modern life, in part semi autobiographical. The
story is related to the reader through a series of colourful and graphic
paintings, which were painted over a period of two years, whilst living in
the neighbourhood where the story takes place. Each image is accompanied by
short text.
